Hazardous Materials

Environmental

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) regulates the storage, management, and disposal of hazardous waste primarily through the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).  While many states create their own hazardous waste regulations, these additional rules must be at least as stringent as the federal RCRA regulations.

In California, facilities are required to comply with stringent state and local requirements. MugenKioku has extensive experience guiding our clients and acting on their behalf with the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and local Certified Unified Program Agencies (CUPAs).
